and Miss harlow in Old Maid; sued by Covent Gdn. management for appearing
at Drury Lane, 1828; mgr. Strand and Olympic Theatres; excelled as old
men; his son Henry Farren (?1826-1860, played Sir Charles Surface at Haymarket,
c.1847; mgr. Brighton Theatres; moved to America and mgr. St Louis theatre;
d. St. Louis.
