1945- ; b. Belfast; one-time member of Philip Hobsbaums Belfast
Group; school-teacher in Belfast, 1968-75; worked as education aid worker
in Guyana, Gambia , Seychelles, Bhutan and Jordan; currently Executive
Director of the Africa Educational Trust; collections incl. A Tired
Tribe (Blackstaff Press); with Michael Boyle, Words, Poems and
Poets; also in anthologies: eight of his poems appear in Padraic Fiacc,
ed., The Wearing of the Black (Belfast: Blackstaff 1974); How
