Heribert Roseveyde, SJ, who copied manuscripts of saints lives at the end of the 16th century, establishing the tradition of the Bollandists; spurred by ‘robbery’ of the hagiokleptes Dempster, who compiled his Menologium Sanctorum Scottorum claiming Irish saints for Caledonia; appt.
