Life
1603-1666; b. Cork, ed. Louvain; president of College of Holy Spirit;
Prof. of Theology at Louvain; provided table of contents for Jansens
Augustinus; published several works attempting to show total conformity
between Jansen and Augustine; his name appeared on the INdex when Jansen
was condemned by Urban VIII; he was attacked in Declaration of the
Irish against Jansen (1651), which preceded the 1652 reprint of
Jansens Augustinus. [see also under Ó Maolchonaire.]
