1943- ; b. Dublin; author of Voyovic, and other Stories (1980; in USA as Briggitte and Other Stories; winner of Brendan Behan Mem. Fellowship [renamed the Snakeoil Fellowship, the organiser being charged with fraud in Missouri]; also novels, Stolen Air (Wolfhound 1988), The Café Cong (1991); And the Red Light (Wolfhound 1994); Welcome to Gomorrah (Wolfhound 1994); also Rejection, ACT-INN Th., Picadilly 1972), a one-act play produced and directed by Amos Mocadi; lives in Dublin.
