1805-1883 [pseud. ‘LNF’]; b. Westland Row, Dublin. third child and eldest dg. of Daniel O’Connell; m. Christopher Fitzsimon, 12 years her senior, purportedly arranged with dowry of £5,000; he was MP for Dublin, 1832-37, Crown Clerk, 1837-56 (obiit.); contrib. poems to Irish Monthly, 1873-79; also to The Nation and Duffy’s Fireside Magazine; published Derrynane Abbey and Other Poems Dublin: WB Kelly 1863); d. London.
