Tomás Ó Cinnéide

Life
?-1992; b. Dingle peninsula; native speaker; by turns ed. seminary but withdrew; served in Irish Army during the Emergency; court-martialled and expelled; teacher, postman, fisherman, labourer, emigrant, alcoholic and habitué of Skid Row; his mellifluous Irish narrative was tape-recorded and later translated by Patrick Tyers.
