Notes
A cache of papers of the county Down poet Robert Huddlestone has
turned up at the Ulster Folk Museum at Cultra; Huddlestone was the beclabbered
poet whom the Flecher referred to above and the young Belfast literary
dabbler Hugh Leslie Stewart visited in Moneyrea ...; Huddlestone
was also author of Irish patriotic poetry contrib. to The Nation (And
on for the freedom of Erin go Bragh) (see John Hewitt, Rhyming
Weavers, 1974; cited in Patrick Walsh, DPhil., UUC [1996].)
