‘A cache of papers of the county Down poet Robert Huddlestone has turned up at the Ulster Folk Museum at Cultra; Huddlestone was the beclabbered poet whom the Flecher referred to above and the “young Belfast literary dabbler” Hugh Leslie Stewart visited in Moneyrea [...]’; Huddlestone was also author of Irish patriotic poetry contrib. to The Nation (‘And on for the freedom of Erin go Bragh’) (See John Hewitt, Rhyming Weavers, 1974; cited in Patrick Walsh, DPhil., UUC [1996].)
