Life
1936-1997; b. England; raised in Dublin; lives in Co. Louth; ed. Dominican College, Eccles Street; trained as nurse at Mater Hospital, Dublin; winner of Bloodaxe Books National Poetry Competition, 1987; Patrick Kavanagh Award, 1988; shortlisted for The Sunday Tribune/Hennessy Literary Award, 1989; Silence and the Blue Night (Salmon 1993); has read on RTE Radio and BBC Radio Ulster; performed in Sunny Side Plucked (Project Arts Centre, Dublin); m., with children; also painted.
